Tiffany Prince and her four children Dylan, Jocelyn, Dmitri and Ava currently live in Mason City, in a small two bedroom home. They were in search of a descent, affordable home when Tiffany turned to habitat for help. Tiffany has been a registered home daycare provider for the past five years. The Prince family enjoys swimming, riding bikes and going to all the Mason City parks.Jocelyn and Dylan both enjoy playing soccer and T-Ball with the Parks and Recreation Department. Jocelyn also enjoys dancing.  Ava and Dmitri enjoy going to the pool.

On April 28th, we had a group of guys from Diamond Jo Casino came out and volunteered on Tiffany's house. The guys were able to get a great start on the sheet rock. They were able to sheet rock the four bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area. We want to thanks those guys who came out to volunteer their time for Habitat for Humanity. Thanks for all your hard work.

April 30th, we had volunteers from Rolling Acres Christian Reformed Church. This group was to do the siding on Tiffany's house, but due to weather, we were unable to work outside. Instead the group worked inside and started the mudding and taping of all the interior walls and ceiling in the house. The group was able to accomplish alot despite the change in activity.

We wish to thank the group of volunteers from Charles City Methodist Church. With your help we were able to mud, tape and finish drywall. We were also able to do a little landscaping around the house.

This past week June 21-23, we had volunteers from MBT Bank who worked at Tiffany Prince’s house doing some mudding and taping. The group of volunteers did a really good job, and we are pleased with the finished outcome.  MBT Bank had different volunteers for three days in a row – talk about teamwork!  

We are thrilled to have Tiffany Prince & her family as our newest Habitat homeowners!  We had a great turnout to the home dedication last night of volunteers, Mason City dignitaries, family & friends of Tiffany, and other Habitat supporters – even despite the chilly weather!  Thanks so much to all those who made this build possible: Wells Fargo Bank, Iowa Finance Authority, NIACOG, and individual donors & volunteers.  The family is excited to move in this weekend and ready to start making memories in their new home. Congratulations to Tiffany Prince & family!
